HP has blocked printing after installation of a non-HP cartridge was installed.[edited per Rules Of Participation]  What's up with this? This is so annoying and is wasting my time.

 

What do I need to do in order to continue using my printer with non-HP cartridges?

This Post pertains to the following OfficeJet products listed in the following table that has new firmware that disables the cartridge security affecting cartridges using Non-HP security chips.  If your printer is not listed here, it is not affected.
