Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP C309 does not turn on when I press the power button. Printer is pluged in and I can see light in the back.

I had the same problem before but I forgot how to do this hard reset. It was a combination of keys on the keypad of the printer.

Please follow the steps from this document:

Also, you may try to restore to factory settings:

 

  1. Unplug the power cord from the product, and wait 20 seconds.
  2. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord to the product.
  3. Release the buttons after the product starts up. The product will now be reset to factory defaults.
