Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

The LCD screen on this printer is black.  I don't know whether the display is dead or if there is some brightness setting my grandkids may have monkeyed with.  I have recently moved and need to connect to the new network, and I can't adjust settings without the display. I was wondering if there is some way to reset to factory settings without using the display.  Help?

It may be a bad display or a failed formatter. Normally how o determine this is whether the device still prints or not. As you cannot connect via network, are you able to connect via USB? Even a wired connection  might work as you could check the router to confirm what address was assigned to the printer and install the printer and test that way.
