Hi all,
Having an issue trying to calibrate/align toners on my printer. Every print is coming through as blurry because it seems that the black toner is misaligned.
I've done the following so far:
- Updated firmware to latest
- Used the cleaning functionality several times
- Ran the color calibration several times
- pulled the power cord for 30 seconds
- taken the black toner out and inspected and put back in
Printed the Quality Print Page and the black is still very much misaligned as per the picture attached.

The recommended solution here doesn't exist anymore https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/Print-Color-Alignment/td-p/5187807
Can anyone else advise?
Thanks!

I would suggest the following as a course to try.
First, ensure that you are using the most current firmware that is available. Then perform a factory reset and then perform 3 full calibrations though the image quality maintenance menus on the printer.
As a note of interest- The black toner is used as the bench mark and all other colors are aligned to it. I have seen issues in the past where very low or poor quality color cartridges and cause issues.
