Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello to the community,

I have been trying for hours to solve a problem with our HP Color Laserjet CP4525. Unfortunately, we can't get any further and need your help.

The printer was purchased in 2013 and a total of 14,500 pages have been printed. The transfer belt was replaced 6 months ago, so it is new. We have also replaced the paper feed rollers.

Now we can no longer print. Two things stand out:
1. after switching on the printer, it normally counts up to 6/6 F/F, then initialization takes place and then the display says "Ready".

It often stops after switching on at 5/6 D/F, the noises that occur during start-up stop, initialization takes place and then the error message 59. F0 is displayed.

2. if the start-up actually works without stopping and the printer display shows "Ready", the following happens during printing: The paper is fed in approx. 10 cm, whether from the paper tray or the side paper feed, and the printer stops and error message 59.F0 appears on the display. (see photo: view of the open side flap - the document is not transported any further in this position)

I have carried out all the manual tests that can be performed on the printer in the diagnostics menu - component, such as sensor tests and motor tests. Everything seems to be OK.

Now I can't get any further. Does anyone have any idea what the problem or problems could be?

I would be very grateful for your help

Thank you all, Heidi

Hi Valismot,

thank you very much for your support and recommendation. During my search I found also a very helpful video on how to fix error F59.0 and after 5 hours of work I was able to fix the error. My printer is now working again without any problems.
I recommend everyone also to watch the following video from Ken Kyle Racing:

I would like to thank everyone who read my call for help, there were an amazing number of them, and I wish everyone who wants to fix this error a lot of perseverance and joy with the later result.
Best regards Heidi
