Subject printer HP DESKJET 3510 e-ALL-IN-ONE SERIES.  The printer stopped printing any type document using my Dell laptop.  It was working fine and suddenly stopped.  I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it using the original CD with installation software the printer came with.  This worked for printing three documents and then it stopped printing anything once again with an error message stating it could not print.  Unable to Communicate with Printer.  Print job could not be completed because the printer is unavailable or not connected. If installed by IP address, then you might need to update the IP address.
How do you update the IP address?  The system prints The Wireless network test results and the IP address is always the same and the same one I entered when reinstalling the software. I cannot chage the printer's IP address and wouldn't know what to do even if I did know how to.
So power off back on same thing, same error message about "Uable to Communicat with Printer".
I need help this situation sucks and it just started out of the blue.

Hi @NMRawker,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Excellent description and a great diagnosis. It is greatly appreciated.

Please perform a Hard Reset on the Printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet.

* With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

* Remove USB cable, if present.

* Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

* Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

* Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you uninstall it from the root level and then install the full feature software.

Let's try the steps to uninstall the printer drivers:

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

Next step would be to Restart the PC.

If the issue still persists, you may have to contact HP phone support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
