HP Desk Jet2710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear community,

I recently purchased the printer. The installation on the network (WIFI) was very simple. At the beginning the printer also worked. Unfortunately, now no longer, although I have not changed any settings.

- The printer and the PC (Windows 10) are in the same network.
- HP Smart indicates that the printer is "ready".
- As soon as I want to print a document it says "Error- the document could not be printed".
- I have run the "HP Print & Scan Doctor". No errors could be detected. However, the test page could not be printed.
- I have already disconnected the printer and the computer from the power and restarted. Unfortunately without success

What else can I try?

Welcome to HP Support Community

I would like to help

Please uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the HP easy Start Printer Setup again

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’

6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Restart the computer and download the full feature software Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/COL96741/HPEasyStart_12_2_5163_01.exe and follow the onscreen instructions

Thank you
