Product: HP DeskJet 2910 All-in-One Printer

I have bought this and never been able to get it to work correctly.  I have it connected directly and on wifi, run the diagnostics and it says everything is ok.  It shows in my list of printers for setting but shows as idle, and does not have the Microsoft tick next to it.  I have deleted it, re-installed it, updated the drivers, restarted the PC, but it will not reappear in the list of printers that are available in Microsoft word, and when I use the HP App to diagnose and fix that says the Driver Check issue not fixed but then does nothing to help to fix it.  If I try and print a test page it just offers me the option to Print to PDF, which is not very helpful.

Feels like a piece of junk to me!

Hi @RTopham ,

For printing a Test page, that you can do it from the printer buttons on the side panel.

 

1. Please follow steps from the next video to print a Test page:

2. And for install printer drivers, you can install the next Full software:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ2900/HPEasyStart-16.8.12-DJ2900_63_1_42_3_Webpa...

 

3. After installing Full software send a document to printer. 

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
