I installed DescJet 3639 on Windows 10 (x64), Version 1809. Everything is fine, except the wireless printing. It is printing via USB connection, also is printing wireless from Android and IOS devices, but won't print from wireless from Win 10. I have two laptops with win 10 and both of them showing error 0x80004005 on HP Smart app. Also do not print PDF, Word, etc. diractly.
I tryed all the troubleshooting that I found like HP Doctor, reinstalling the drivers and software and many others, but nothing is helping so far. Printer is showing ready from Win 10, it is scanning fine wirelessly, it is printing fine with ePrint, but can not print via simple wifi connection?!?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I believe its an issue with the printer driver installed on your PC. Use the method below to remove all existing printer drivers from your PC:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers.
Once the drivers are removed, download and install the printer software and driver available here.
Let me know how it goes!

Hello again,
Thank you verry much for your information. Even that I uninsattlled and re-installed the drivers several times before, I followed your instructions and the problem is still remain.
I'm sure that this is a problem with the driver for Windows 10 (x64), but re-installation of the printers software (drivers) do not solve the issue.
Thank you once again, hope that someone is working on the update of the drivers.
It is verry sad that the printer is working wireless with any other devices (Android, IOS), except the ones with Win 10!!!
Kind regards,

You are welcome! It's unfortunate that those steps failed to resolve the issue. Let's download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor, you may download HP Print and Scan Doctor from here.
If in case, HP Print and Scan Doctor is not able to fix the printing issue, use the steps I suggested in my first post and remove the printer software and driver. Once they are removed, use the steps available here and add a Windows Built in Print driver and then try to print.
Keep me posted!

Hi,
As I wrote in my first post I tryied HP Doctor many times, but nothing changed. HP Doctor is showing that everything is fine, but when I click on a test page button nothing happend, the when I click on "no test page" (something like this) it's freezing and I have to end the task in a task manager. Even daw I tryed again and the situation was the same.
The second option with the Windows 10 drivers is installing the printer, but with status: Driver is unavailable. The strange thing is that the scanner is working fine, just the printing is not working.
I guess I have to bring back the printer to the store or there will be a new driver update?

Updating Windows, printer firmware and then adding the correct driver may resolve the issue. Remove all existing printer drivers from your PC then use the steps available here to update Windows OS. Once the Windows is up to date, use the steps available here to update the printer firmware then try adding a Windows Built in Print Driver.

Hi,
Windows is always up to date, tryied to update the printer's firmware, it says that is up to date. Installed the printer again with the built drivers and.........SAME THING!!!
Sorry, but I really don't understand?
Will try to connect it with Linux to see how it will be, just for information.

It looks like you were interacting with @senan6806, but he is out for the day. I'm KrazyToad & I'm at your service.
Please disable the Firewall and try printing.
If the issue persists, create a new User Account and check if you are able to print from the new User Account
-
-
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Family & other users > Add someone else to this PC. (Depending on your edition of Windows 10, you may see Other users instead of Family & other users.)
- At the bottom of the page, select I don’t have this person’s sign-in information, and at the bottom of the next page, select Add a user without a Microsoft account.
-
Enter a user name, password, password hint, and then select Next. Note: If you’re using Windows 10, version 1803 and later, you can add security questions—instead of a hint—to your local account to help you reset your password in case you forget it.
-
- To make the new account an administrator account, select Start > Settings > Accounts > Family & other users (or Other users, if you're using Windows 10 Enterprise), and select Change account type. Under Account type, select Administrator > OK. Restart your device and sign in with the new administrator account.
Keep me posted how it goes 😊
