Hello

 

I have a problem regarding cartridge installation in my HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835.

When I install both cartridges, I get an error message saying "Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge (...)" - and the image underneath the message points to the black-ink cartridge.

The strange thing is - it only occurs when both cartridges are installed at the same time. If I only install black cartridge - it works fine, same goes for the color cartridge - it works if it's installed by itself.

I've already tried solutions such as this one: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/repeatedly-says-remove-and-reinstall-in...

Which means I've already tried cleaning contacts on printer's carriage and the ones on cartridges. I've also restarted the printer several times by unplugging it from the wall socket.

Printer's firmware is also up to date.

I'd really appreciate help with this matter.
