My printer `ve started displaying 'Ink Cartidges Problem' error after latest firmware update. I could print using the same original cartridge just before the update. I replaced the black ink cartridge with a new original one. However, I got the same error. So, it seems to be an issue caused by the firmware update.

I followed all the troubleshooting steps including hard reset. However, the issue was not resolved.

Can I do a firmware downgrade? Or do you have a fix for the issue that was caused by this update?

Here are photos of the error an the new cartridge box:

Hi @evdemid

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thank you for posting I'd be happy to assist you.

Which ink cartridge is defective?

Insert one ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.

There is no option to downgrade the firmware on a printer.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue with the ink cartridge.

If you have already tried the steps and the error persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
