I have an HP DeskJet 2652 printer that says error when i'm attempting to print from my windows 11 laptop. I get a message stating unable to find or connect to printer when attempting from my iphone or ipad'. I didnt' have any problems until i had to change my Wifi password, which when I select the printer under wifi to add in the new password i get and incorrect message. my warranty is up this month as well. I welcome any advise or recommendations.

Hi @donna2652,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the issue with your HP DeskJet 2652 printer is related to the Wi-Fi password change. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve it.
Restart Your Devices:
- Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
- Router: Restart your router to ensure it’s working correctly.
- Computer and Mobile Devices: Restart them as well.
Reconnect Your Printer to Wi-Fi:
Locate the Wireless Setup Button:
- On your HP DeskJet 2652, find the wireless button (usually with a wireless symbol or a globe icon).
Reset Wireless Settings:
- Press and hold the wireless button until the wireless light blinks. This will reset the wireless settings.
Reconfigure Wi-Fi Settings:
- On the printer, navigate to the control panel or settings menu. Use the wireless setup wizard to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the new password.
Update Printer Software:
From Windows 11:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 2652, and then click Manage.
- Click Printer properties and ensure the printer’s driver is up to date.
From iPhone/iPad:
- Ensure the HP Smart app is updated to the latest version.
- Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and follow the prompts to reconnect it to Wi-Fi.
Reinstall the Printer:
On Windows 11:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select the HP DeskJet 2652 and click Remove device.
- Click Add device to reinstall the printer.
On iPhone/iPad:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to your network.
- Open the HP Smart app and follow the steps to add the printer again.
Verify Printer and Network Compatibility:
- Ensure your printer and devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Double-check the Wi-Fi password entered on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
