My HP Deskjet 2541 is only printing blank pages - even the test page, diagnostics page, alignment page, printing from Word or PDF, and in making a photocopy. I've seemed to have tried everything: cleaning the ink cartridges, cleaning the printer, hard resetting the printer, checking for updates, replacing the ink cartridges with genuine HP ink, etc. Nothing I've done has been able to print a page with any text on it, black, color or otherwise. The test page continues to print out completely blank. The scan feature works perfectly fine. Are there any solutions to my problem?

Hello RB214,
I see that you have pretty much tried all the possible steps to fix the issue.
However, i'd suggest you to again try the steps as mentioned in the below URL .
If issue still persists, i'd suggest you to do the follwing..
Kindly try the below steps that should resolve the issue..
If printer is connected using USB perform the below steps.
go to Control Panel > Devices and Printer > Add a Printer.
in the window displayed, select "Add a local printer with manual settings", and then click NEXT
under "Use an existing port" drop down box "USB001 (Virtual USB Port for USB)" and then click NEXT.
In the next window under "Manufacturer" select HP, and then from right pane, select "HP DeskJet 2540 Series Class Driver" and click NEXT.
And then follow the on screen instructions to complete the process.
Now open the document you want to print, under PRINT dropdown select the printer that was installed using the above steps. And now click the PRINT button to start to print
If printer is connected using Wireless perform the below steps.
goto Control Panel > Devices and Printer > Add a Printer.
in the window displayed, select "Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname" and then click NEXT
Select "Create a new port - "Standard TCP/IP port" and then click NEXT
Now type in the printer's IP address under "Hostname or IP address" box, then click on the NEXT button. "Detecting TCP/IP" would start.
After which click the NEXT button and then in the next window under "Manufacturer" select HP, and then from right pane, select "HP DeskJet 2540 Series Class Driver" and click NEXT.
And then follow the on screen instructions to complete the process.
Now open the document you want to print, under PRINT dropdown select the printer that was installed using the above steps. And now click the PRINT button to start to print
If issue still persists, you might try uninstalling the printer, restart the PC, and then install the software using the http://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Hi Jabzi,
Thanks for the below. I've tried all steps several times on both my older Mac and my brand new Dell, and the printer is still continuing to print only blank pages. I did manage to get a somewhat decent printout on the Mac when I first turned on the printer today, before taking those steps, but since then have received only blanks. Is there anything else I can do?
