Hello,
I've bought a couple hours ago brand new printer - HP Deskjet 2545. Everything looked perfect, but when i plug it to power point sometheing weird have happened. All controls are blinking and on screen all icons and "E" letter are blinking too.
Does anyone have idea what's wrong with device? Should i make complaint or send it to service?
Regards
Maciej

Hi maciekole,
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support forums for a solution to the printer's blinking lights issue.
I understand that you recently purchased a HP DeskJet 2545 All-in-One Printer that you have installed on a Windows 8.1 computer, and when you tried to print from Power Point all of the printer's lights started flashing including a flashing "E" on the little display. I would like to help with that.
I referred to this document - Blinking Lights on HP Deskjet 2545 All-in-One Printers. The printer is in an error state when all the lights are flashing with a flashing "E".
Try this.
If does not help, you may need to contact HP Tech Support directly. What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Hi, I am having the same issue with a windows 10. I did try step 1 and it did not help. I don't however understand the soloution 2, how can I connect the cord to the power outlet without using the adaptor? While the other side of the cord is connected to an adaptor which can not be seperated from the wire. Please help me on this.
