Hi, my HP Deskjet 3054 won't print 4x6 inch cards. It takes part of the card, makes sounds as if it were printing, and then throws a paper jam error. I set the document type of 4x6 inch index card and tried selecting specialty paper and picture paper (which are my only choices besides normal paper).
I suspect it's a hardware problem. I had an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock lying around. It printed fine with that. It just can't grab the smaller size card. I also tried cleaning the roller underneath the printer with rubbing alcohol. I couldn't clean much because I don't want to take it apart.
I'm out of ideas. What I'm looking to print seems compatible with the printer. What can I do to get this to print?
Thanks for your time and help!

- What is the weight of the index card your using ?
- What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
Meanwhile , Try selecting paper type as card and size as 4X6.
