I’ve been trying to print shipping labels on 4x6 envelopes and was using cardstock cut down to size to practice on to perfect the placement. Finally nailed it on the cardstock and put an envelope in. The print on the envelope is crooked and is off by about an inch, as if the print job is beginning before the envelope is all the way in the roller. I figured I didn’t put the envelope in the tray all the way, whatever, send it through again to make sure it aligns. Same thing happens the second time. And the third time. I printed another cardstock piece to see if something went wrong with the print job, but again, the cardstock printed perfectly. It’s only having issues with the envelope. It’s driving me absolutely bonkers. Any idea what’s going on here or how I can fix it?

@Libbby, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have issues printing on the envelope.

Ensure that the envelope is used is supported by the printer, refer to the document Printer Specifications for HP DeskJet 3630, 4720 Printers to learn more.

Also, check the driver settings before you send the print job. Use the document HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows) for help.

Keep me posted.
