HP DeskJet 3730
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am having issues printing with my HP DeskJet 3730. When printing, the black comes out as light grey. When I print a "quality report" printer report, the colors look fairly light, and I don't see any black anywhere on the page (I don't know what this page is expected to look like). It's an older printer, so I don't know if my cartridges are out of ink, or if the printer has an issue. How can I find out what the issue might be before buying new cartridges, which potentially may not fix the problem either? When I connect to the printer via the HPSmart App, the color status seems ok on the picture on the App home page - is there another place to check this in detail?

Thanks in advance for your help

This link has a image of the quality report.

You most likely need to replace the black cartridge.
