I would like to get a Deskjet 970Cse driver which works with the Photosmart 1115 printer of mine.
I know it works but I lost my driver file

Hi! @bigjean, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you would like to know how to get Deskjet 970c drivers
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.
I have checked the records as the printer is very old and obsolete the drivers are not available from HP.
However, you can try installing windows built-in drivers and by selecting 990c drivers instead.
Install the built-in print driver over a wireless or wired (Ethernet) network connection on a computer with Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
Search Windows for devices, and then click Devices and Printers in the list of results.
Click Add a printer.
Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
Select the printer that I want isn't listed.
And select Deskjet 990c from the list and click next and finish to complete the driver installation.
Refer this article to know more information about installing windows built-in drivers. Click Here
Let me know if this works!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
