Printer is asking for a password, it never has before. Saying incorrect password so can’t print.

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that is not printing.

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

 

- Which password are you referring too (Please share the image of the screen when you get the window for password)

- Error messages or Blinking lights (if any) on the unit.

- May I know which application you are using to print?

- When was the last time your printer was working fine?

- Were there any changes made to your printer recently?

- May I know which devices are you using to print eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?

 

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

I am using an IPad, I’ve also tried on my IPhone and laptop.

i go to setting to change to HP Wi-Fi it then asks for password,

No. I can’t get past the password error message. So I can’t go to Advanced Settings


if you look at the screenshot the Direct Wi-Fi is set up I just can’t get any further.
