HP ENVY 4500
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I've had our HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer for almost 2 years now, and have been flawlessly printing to it over WiFi from my desktop (Mac OS X 10.11), my iPhone 6, and my wife's iPhone 6 all around our house. I printed wireless from my Mac a couple days ago just fine.

I haven't changed a thing on my network, but today my computer says it's not connected. I checked the printer, and the WiFi light is flashing blue. When I push it, it says IP: Not Connected, SSID: N/A, etc.

I went through the Wirless Setup Wizard, and tried re-connected to my AirPort Extreme router. I tried both my broadcasted guest SSID, and also my hidden SSID which I typed in manually. Neither SSIDs worked. I'm certain I typed the password correctly, and chose the correct security protocal WPA. I also tried connecting to my hardwired Netgear Wireless Access Point (WAP) down the hall in the living room that has a diferent SSID. That also did not work.

In the mean time, I have a big long USB extension plugged into it strung across the office, and prints fine over USB. But this is not a long term solution.

Thanks in advance.

I did some additional troubleshooting and found my computer was ALSO not finding my hidden SSID. I turned that hidden setting on/off again, and everything's working now.

Disregard for now!
