HP ENVY 4520
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Whenever I try to print anything, either absolutely nothing or only a small dab of color shows. The printer says the ink cartridges are nearly full. I've tried resetting the printer, updating it, cleaning the cartridges, printing diagnostics reports, and other troubleshooting suggestions ad nauseum and nothing.

The printer has barely been used. The only other thing I can think of aside from the printer itself being broken is the ink cartridges but -- both the color and black ink? What are the odds.

Anyway, please let me know if you have anymore suggestions. Thanks.

@alwayssomethin1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If you have tried steps 6, 12, and 13 from this document and the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue either with the ink cartridges or the printer itself. This document helps in resolving print quality issues.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
