Hi. 

My HP ENVY 5544 keeps showing a printing error. It's working perfectly with all other devices other than my laptop. It won't take the print command from my laptop and says it's out of paper when it's not. I have tried turning off and turning on both devices and have done all the troubleshooting I could find online. Any guidance would be really helpful. Thank you.

I understand you are not able to print from your laptop. if you are able to print from other devices, it means the printer is working fine.

Are you using the HP Smart app to print?

Check the print settings before printing. Make sure the correct paper type and paper size are selected. Check if you are printing to the right printer.

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

​​​​​​​If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

 

Reinstall the HP Smart app from Microsoft Store and check if that helps.
