HP Recommended

I have just plugged in my new HP ENVY 6000 for the first time, ready to set up.  I have a flashing 'E' light on the control panel, a flashing orange light (?ink cartridges) and a long white line light (presumably paper tray).

I have not inserted print cartridges or paper.

Can anyone help?
