Hi @JaniceCH,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6000e printer is displaying error code E6 and continues to blink, indicating that fixing is not possible, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Remove any paper stuck in the printer carefully.
  • Reset the Printer Again: Sometimes a second reset might resolve the issue. Ensure that the printer is powered on, then disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds before reconnecting it. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and are not empty. If needed, replace any empty or faulty ink cartridges.
  • Inspect for Foreign Objects: Check inside the printer for any foreign objects such as paper clips, debris, or pieces of torn paper that may be causing the error.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating the firmware may resolve software-related issues causing the error.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the E6 error code on your HP ENVY 6000e printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
