Hi @SMH08,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer. If your printer is stuck on the startup screen, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Power Cycle the Printer: Unplug the printer from the power source and wait for at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. This can help reset the printer's internal systems.
- Check Power Connection: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the wall outlet. If possible, try a different power outlet to rule out an issue with the outlet.
- Remove External Devices: Disconnect any USB devices or additional hardware connected to the printer. Sometimes, these can cause conflicts during startup.
- Hard Reset: Perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button for about 15 seconds, then release it. After that, unplug the printer, wait a minute, and plug it back in.
- Check for Paper Jams: Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that could be preventing it from starting properly.
- Firmware Update: If you can access the printer settings, check for any available firmware updates that may address startup issues.
- Reset Network Settings: If the printer connects to Wi-Fi, you might want to reset its network settings. This can sometimes resolve issues that prevent the printer from initializing properly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
