HP Envy 4500
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have tried (several times!) rebooting my router/printer/laptop but to no avail. The problem occurred a few weeks ago and I evetually got it working by rebooting...but it's not working this time. I am suspicious that these problems have started since I installed Windows 10...any ideas please?

Take a look at this support doc.

Also make sure you have the latest firmware on the 4500, it's MKM1FN1547AR.

Thanks. I fixed my problem via the manual option specified...how do I check the printer has the latest firmware?

HP Recommended

It should be on the WiFi configuration page.

Many thanks for getting back to me...but I'm ignorant of such things...I don't know what firmware is let alone how to check if I have the latest!

Did you printout the network config. page,  see manual for instructions if necessary.
