Product: HP Envy 4500

Hi, 

my HP Envy 4500 won’t print, saying “the print cartridge cannot move. Open the...access door...clear any paper jam or obstruction...levers are lowered and snapped into place.”

There is no paper jam or obstruction and levers are OK. The cartridge does move but doesn’t return all the way to the right - any ideas?

@Hutchimama, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

Did you make any changes to the printer recently?

When was the last time the printer worked fine?

 

Make sure the printer is directly connected to the wall outlet.

 

Follow the troubleshooting steps from this video link- clearing a carriage jam

Refer to this document for additional help.
