My Envy 4500 prints perfectly on regular paper, but every time I try to print on any type of photo paper, whether 4x6, letter or A4 sizes, only the bottom 1/3 of the image gets printed at the top of the page. The image also comes out tilted.

Hey there! 🙂 Thanks for responding!
If you have tried all of the steps from the troubleshooting guide I suggested, and the alignment consistently fails, you will need a new unit. Check out my last post for HP's contact information to discuss a replacement or a trade in with them. If you run into any problems contacting them, let me know, and I will do my best to help out!
Enjoy your Wednesday:D

Welcome to the HP Community @zangezi,
I wanted to reply to help you out with the print quality issues you're experiencing with your Envy 4500, when printing on different paper sizes. Check out the link below and try all of the steps. Ensure the print settings are correct, and that the correct paper size and type are selected. You can also try your prints from other programs too, to see if that helps. If all else fails, contact HP directly to see about a replacement printer. I will leave their contact details below. 😄
If you have any troubles, let me know and I will do my best to help.
Click the thumbs up below to show appreciation for my help!
Click the "Accept as Solution" if I have guided you to a solution!
Have a great day:D

Thank you for a quick response. The only point that seemed applicable to my issue was no. 11, "Align Printer". I followed the instructions, but after scanning the test page I received a message that alignment has failed.
Again, the issue seems to concern photo paper only (or, perhaps, any heavier weight paper). The same images on normal printer paper come out fine.
