HP Envy 4501 e-all-in-one Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My HP Envy 4501 is throwing a 0X83C0000A NOS_LOADER_APP error I cannot clear.

Only one minute prior to the error, the printer successfully installed a brand new authentic HP cartridge, printed a test page, scanned it, and allowed the device to reboot itself.  Everything seemed perfect until this suddenly happened out of nowhere.

I've tried hard resetting the power on the printer several times via the steps usually listed (unplug while powered on, wait 2-3 minutes, clear  charge from power button, plug directly into the wall, etc.,).  None of this has prevented the error from presenting as soon as the device boots up.

I cannot address any physical cartridge issues which may exist, because I cannot get to the cartridges.  They are frozen in the far right (covered) position.  I tried removing the cover of this area, but the cheap screw which is extremely inaccessible to begin with disintegrated as I finally got a long enough screw driver extension with the star shaped head deep enough to try.  I have no reason to believe there are any physical issues anyhow though.  I am able to remove and re-install the colour cartridge, but I cannot reach the black one.

I tried following the other searchable advice regarding confusing the device, but was unable to.

I do not think it's possible to update the drivers in the state the device is in.  It won't connect to any PC or the network.  All of the status indicator lights are off, and it seems entirely pre-occupied with this error.

Anything else I can try?  Please and thanks.

You may try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet. Also, let's try updating the Printer's firmware:
