My printer was working normally this morning. I replaced the black ink with an official HP ink cartridge that matches the cartridge number provided on my printer. It accepted the cartridge and then attempted to print an alignment page. However, the printer froze here for a very long time doing nothing. It did not even begin to print, just sitting there in silence for a long time and it was completely unresponsive to attempts to cancel the alignment or return to the home screen.

I reset the printer by holding down the power button and then turning it back on. However, from this point forward, it gave me the error code [OXC4EB9343 HW_MICCI2 C]. I’ve tried unplugging it and letting it sit and then turning it on again multiple times and it has not fixed the error. I cannot remove the black ink cartridge, which I suspect may have led to the error, because it is locked in place to the right of my machine under plastic and I cannot find a way to get it to slide over enough to remove the cartridge and clean it. I’ve already checked and made sure nothing in there was jammed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a time sensitive document I need to print and I would like to get this resolved as soon as I can.
