Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you are having issues printing from PDF. Don't worry I'll be glad to help you with this.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Are you able to print from other applications? such as word, excel, Internet web pages
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
First of all, I would like to know the app that you are using to open / print PDF files. Are you using “Adobe reader” or some other application?
If you are not using Adobe reader, please install Adobe reader and then try to print the pdf image.
Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat pro from Help>Check for updates. Reboot the machine after the installation of updates.
You may also reset the preferences of Acrobat once, to reset preferences, Once done, restart the PC.
If you are already using the Adobe reader, follow the steps below:
1.Try the "Print as image" option:
- Choose File > Print, and then click Advanced.
- Select Print as Image.
- Click OK to close the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, and then click OK to print.
2. Install the latest update:
- Open Reader or Acrobat.
- Choose Help > Check For Updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
- Once installed, restart your computer.
- Print the PDF again.
Alternatively, you can go through the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Printers - Cannot Print PDFs from Adobe Reader (Windows)
Also, please go through the steps mentioned here: http://hp.care/2dSDxCD
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
