I recently purchased this HP printer and hooked it up to a brand new high end computer (HP Pavillion 590 with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20G). I'ts connected wirelessly.
Usually the printer will print...after a 30 second delay. Recently it stopped printing entirely. The documents how in queue, but status shows ERROR-PRINTING.
I've installed and ran HP Scan and Print Doctor. It shows 3 products each with a blue check that shows "installed".
However, when I choose the printer in question, HPF22610 (HP Envy 4520 Series), i receive an error message stating it Failed to Communicate with my selected product. My network printer (HP Laserjet Color MFP M570dn always works very quickly)
Any help would be appreciated..
Thx!

I contacted HP directly and discovered the IP address on my printer did not match that of the network.
I reset the router and it then assigned the correct IP address
I then changed the printer to IPV4 only (it was either IPV4 or IPV6) then changed to a static IP. Finally, I assigned a new port directly tied to the IP address.
This solved the problem and the printer is now lightning fast!
Thanks to all for your help

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall and check if it helps.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thanks for the reply. I followed all your steps with the exception of steps 1-3 as there was no HP printer listed there.
When I reinstall the software, the same issue appears: it can't locate the printer.wirelessly. I tried inputting the IP address and also the host name. Neither worked
When I click the wireless icon on the printer, it shows a full signal and says it's connected to my secure office network.
Any other suggestions?

The HP Print And Scan Doctor might get this sorted out
Please download and run the HP Print And Scan Doctor from this Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
Run PSDR v5.0.2
Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status.
Select the correct Printer and click on Next.
PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing
Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page.
Regardless if PSDR printed the test page or not, click on “NO PRINT”
PSDR will then notify you that there is an update available, click on continue, and PSDR will apply the patch and ask for a reboot.
Post restart the PSDR will run automatically to check for more issue. If no issue found close PSDR.
Also, try using the HP Smart App and let me know if that helps. Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/hp-smart/9wzdncrfhwlh

I have previously installed and ran Scan & Print Doctor v5.2
It doesn't recognize the printer. I turned off the printer, then turned it back on. It still doesn't recognize it.
Any additional help would be appreicated
