I keep getting an error code 0xb932cdee when I attempt to print on HP Envy 4524. Turning printer on and off has not resolved it. Please advise how to resolve. Thanks

Thank you for your reply but the problem is already solved.
We needed the printer back up & running asap, so after a LOT of googling, we established the fault was the black ink cartridge, which although Instant Ink said was fine, was not producing any ink. After removing the faulty cartridge, the printer worked on the single colour cartridge. And after contacting Instant Ink by phone, we now have a new black cartridge, so are back up & running again.
It would help if the error codes were listed somewhere. We had 1 problem with a cartridge in the past, but I am sure that came up with a specific message that there was a problem with a cartridge, as opposed to a vague error code!
Thank you for your reply regardless 👍🏻

Hi @Hugo287,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xb932cdee on your HP Envy 4524 printer typically indicates a hardware or firmware problem. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue.
Restart the Printer: You've already mentioned that you've turned the printer on and off, but try doing it again. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear temporary glitches.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Visit the HP support website (https://support.hp.com) and enter your printer model (HP Envy 4524) to check for any available firmware updates.
- If there are updates available, follow the instructions to download and install them. Firmware updates can often fix compatibility issues and bugs.
Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions:
- Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Clear any jammed paper carefully.
- Also, make sure that there are no foreign objects like paper clips or bits of paper stuck in the printer.
Check Ink or Toner Levels:
- Ensure that your ink or toner cartridges have enough ink or toner to complete the print job. Low ink levels can sometimes cause errors.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- On your computer, uninstall the existing printer drivers for your HP Envy 4524.
- Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
- Install the new drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.
Reset the Printer:
- To perform a hard reset, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
