HP Envy 5020 printing blank pages

My HP Envy 5020 Inkjet printer is printing blank pages. Even the printing test pages are blank. The black ink cartridge is empty but the colour cartridge is half full. With this situation I used to be able to print documents with a blue font but these are also coming out blank.

Any advice you can provide would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

I understand the printer is printing blank pages. Kindly perform steps 10 and 13 from this document. 

Perform 3 levels of cleaning for better print quality.

Once done, print a test report and check if the report prints fine.

1. On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .

2. Touch Tools.

3. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

If the issue persists, you will have to replace the ink cartridges.
