I have set up my HP Envy 5032 and want to print photos but the colours are too vivid and I can't see how to tone them down. For example pink looks red, lavender looks blue, navy blue looks bright blue, trees and grass are too yellow.
I bought an Envy because I was told the photo printing was so good. I am using HP photo paper and have opted for Best quality. I tried lower quality but the photos weren't as clear. I have checked all the settings and they are correct.

@Petal88, Welcome to HP Support Community!
To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-
What happens when you make photocopies on the printer?
What happens when you print regular text documents?
Meanwhile, follow the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues to isolate the issue.
Also, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Keep me posted.

Thank you for your response but I am afraid it is too late as I have already taken the printer back for a refund. I had already made sure the printer was up to date in every way and I tried every type of setting that was available. I printed on various types of paper but the colours were so vivid I could not live with it. I will look for a different printer that allows colour management.
Thank you for trying to help.
