HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer

The printer prints blank pages. I've removed the color cartridge that was empty. The black ink cartridge says it's fine on the display. I've run the "clean cartridges" and now I get a few times. I've run the "clean page smears".  Printer is updated. When I run the "print quality report", the print is evenly broken horizontally. I can see most of #1 "Ink levels are okay and should not cause print quality problems. Ink is genuine HP." The rest of the page is mostly blank. I'm printing from my Android phone which I've done since I've had the printer 2020. Same phone.

I see that you are facing print quality issues with your HP ENVY 5055 All-In-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to align the cartridges.

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
  2. Open the HP Smart app, and then click the picture of your printer to open the settings and management tools.
  3. In Print Quality Tools or in Advanced Settings > Tools > Utilities > Print Quality Toolbox, select Align or Align Printheads to start the alignment.
