My old HP Envy 5540 was printing perfectly until a day ago. Now it no longer prints in color. I noticed that the color option is no longer showing on the Printing Preference page. I have tried updating the driver and uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, but the color option still does not show. It only prints in black.
UPDATE: I noticed that Microsoft 365 had been downloaded on to my HP laptop on April 12. 2025. That is when the problem started. I do not have Microsoft 365 - I took a risk and uninstalled it from my programs. The printing preference now shows color again. Everything else seems to work fine now - I hope my uninstalling of Microsoft 365 did not do any harm!

No worries at all — you're completely fine! 😊 Uninstalling Microsoft 365 won't harm your system, especially if you weren't using it or didn't have an active subscription.
Glad everything's working properly again — great job spotting the problem! Let me know if anything else acts up.
Take care and have a good day.
