I accidentally dislodged the output tray and now I can't get it back in. It doesn't seem to fit and I don't want to force it.

Hello @megathygirl,
This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that output tray needs to be reinserted in the printer again. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
I have provided the manual with steps for removing and reinserting the output tray on page 10: Envy 5540.
You can click on the "Accept as Solution" if the issue is resolved and the "Thumbs Up" for my effort. Please keep me posted. Good Luck!

I must be doing something wrong because the output tray seems too big for where it belongs. Is there a special way to insert it? I've checked and rechecked that I'm putting in in the right direction, but it still refuses to lock into place.
