Hey,
I'm having issues with our HP Envy 5546 printer here at work.
For some reason it has stopped connecting to our office Wifi (we have 5GHZ and it doesn't even come up as an option on the printer menu)
If I want to print anything, I have to connect to Wifi that belongs to another company who are based next door and the printer will work.
I rung HP and they said it was an issue with the internet - not the printer. I rung Virgin and they confirmed that there was no issue with the Wifi (everyone in the office is connected to the above Wifi on both computer and phones with no issues)
Can anyone shed any light on why I might be having these issues? The printer is 3 years old so I'm not sure if it's just given up or whether it's an issue with the internet provider and they just don't want to help!
Thanks

Hi,
The printer only supports 2.4GHz wireless band, it does not support, cannot see or connect a 5GHz WiFi network.
You may find the printer specifications below, see Connectivity > HP ENVY 5540 All-in-One printers:
Wireless 802.11 b/g/n – 2.4 GHz networks only
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04730912
You must enable 2.4GHz wireless for your network, assuming your router supports a such, to connect the printer to it.
I would also suggest making sure your router is configured with separate SSIDs for the different bands to avoid possible connectivity issues.

Thank you very much for that - managed to connect the printer to the Wifi.
I'm assuming it's been connected to that Wifi in the past so unsure why it stopped working for a while but seems to be all good now!
