We have a HP Envy 6032 printer which has an E3 error. This was after changing the print cartridges. Despite following all the online advice, we are unable to get rid of the error. We are not able to see any paper jams, and the carriage moves easily from side to side when pushed gently.

Hi @Modes2023,
I understand you are facing a Paper Jam E3 error issue with your HP Envy 6032 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Thank you for your reply. So far the printer is still getting the same error, after following the turn off procedure you listed plus checking that the firmware is up to date, which it is. I will spend some more time looking through all the links you provided another time.
