I've had this printer for just under 3 years and until the last two months, all was great. We moved to a new house about 8 months ago, got new wifi - no problem, got the printer up and running just fine. It's within the last two months that suddenly the printer will not stay connected to the wifi or will constantly display a "0" error message.
Looking that up, it suggested that the cartridges may need cleaned or reseated. Tried that, didn't do anything.
Saw some other recommendations to unplug the printer and restart the router. After doing that, I can finally print again.
It now seems that I need to restart the router and printer EVERY SINGLE TIME I NEED TO PRINT SOMETHING. I've removed and reconnected my printer from the HP smart app multiple times with no change in the issue. I attempted to register my device here on the HP site and download the update from March 2024, only to get a message during installation that there are no upgrades in this package for my device.
I've yet to find a solution, hence this post. I understand that technology needs updated and replaced from time to time but a printer that sees light use at best struggling to even stay connected in 2024 is ridiculous.
