Hello,
I have what seems to be a fairly common problem, in that my HP Envy 7134 will not pick up photo paper and sends a message each time to say that the photo tray is out of paper. I have looked at different forums and YouTube vids about cleaning the pick up rollers, ensuring that paper is properly loaded, that the try is centred and running freely etc. and have done all these things but to no avail. I have tried loading one sheet of paper, 5 sheets and 10 sheets but it makes no difference.
I've just seen that my printer is out of warranty by a couple of months and so before springing £18 to HP for a one-off issue, I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem with any of the 7100 Envy series and had been able to successfully resolve the matter. Thanks in advance for any thoughts/tips

Hi,
Thank you for contacting HP.
I would like to know which size of photo paper you are using, 4*6 or 5*7 or any other size ?
Keep the printer powered on.
Please remove all the papers from the tray and just place the photo papers of equal size in the photo tray of the printer adjusting the side guides,
Ensure the papers are not bend by the guides.
Then remove the power cord from the Rear of the printer while the printer is still on.
Wait for 60 seconds and replug the cord, wait for the printer to power on.
Look for any message on the display which shows to change the paper type.
Select Yes if the size shows is same as the papers being used.
If the printer still does not detect the papers then pull out the input tray and push it back in, try this 3 to 4 times and see if the printer asks to change the paper type.
Select Yes if the printer shows the message,
If not then reply to this post and I will provide additional steps to fix this.
Let me know the below:- Which size of photo paper you are using, 4*6 or 5*7 or any other size ?
Is the printer connected over a network or is it connected via a USB?
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
