Product: HP Envy 7855 Printer

Just took the brand new printer out of the box.  Set up was quick and easy.  The problem is that the paper feeder does not feed correctly -- sometimes pulls in two pieces of paper so half the print job is on one page and the other half is on the second page.  Sometimes it states it is out of paper when it is not.  I do not feel I should have to troubleshoot with the suggestions from HP (clean feeder rollers, etc.) since it is brand new!  Any help would be appreciated.
