The printer Specifications are presented in the "new" style which means (in my opinion), there is a bit of guessing involved as to what the printer does with specifics settings / setups. Nonetheless, in general, it is likely that the printer can print your little label sheets (4x6 inches).
Equally vague (in my opinion), though the file does provide some key information, is the "how to print labels" document:
Printing Labels for Addresses, CDs, DVDs, and More
In general, the photo paper tray is likely to object to "label paper" - little photo tray likes photo paper. The use of the phrase "In general" is deliberate. I don't have your printer and it may be able to distinguish the paper type after all.
Suggestions (based on my experience)
- Remove any "other paper" from the main tray.
- Load the little label paper in the main tray - print side down and top of the sheet toward the back of the printer. As a rule, load between five and ten sheets of label paper: Too few sheets and the paper may slip or fail to load, too many and the printer may balk and / or do strange things to the paper.
- Close the tray
- Check the Printer Control Panel and change (modify) the paper size. If the list of sizes does not include your paper size, select "Custom". If the paper type can be selected, try using plain paper or similar.

If you are using Word,
- Download the template for your labels
- Open the document (template)
- If necessary, use File > Convert to convert your template to your version of Office Word
- Set the paper size, the layout, the orientation (if / as necessary - expect the Template to handle at least some of these).
- If the setup seems "off center", try setting the margins to "narrow" (this may - or may not - be necessary or even a good idea).
- When you are ready to print, check the paper size. You might want to go into File > Print > Printer Properties and check / verify the information in the various tabs (in the printer dialog).
I would suggest you print a sample on plain paper first - adjust the settings as necessary to make this happen. If you like, write the words, "Print side" and "top" on the sheet of test paper to make sure what you print is what you expect to see.
