Hi @TammyC0731,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are receiving an error.
We can perform a factory default on the printer to resolve the issue
Try the below suggestions -
Reset the product:
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Try making a copy of the clean white sheet and check the output.
To use Cold Reset to restore settings:
Cold Reset removes all user-configured settings, including saved administrator passwords, network
configurations, selected country/region and language, Address Book entries, and Web Services account
information.
NOTE: For HP+ printers, after restoring the printer, register the printer again using the HP account you used
when you first set up the printer.
You can use this feature if you are selling the printer or giving it to someone else and want to be sure that all
personal information has been removed.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the
Dashboard, and then touch Setup.
2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
3. Touch Restore.
4. Touch Cold Reset.
A message appears, stating what settings will be restored.
5. Touch Continue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
