I only had this printer for a few months when it decided one day to have a “Light Show”. All the lights are flashing like crazy on it. I can’t reset to factory settings, can’t remove the ink, can’t print…nothing. I can do NOTHING on my brand new printer. I moved out of my place, and in with family for a while till I could get into a new spot. Packed my printer back up in it’s original packaging. Then I finally got into a new house, (I’ve been for a year now). I recently decided to try my printer again. Pulled it out of the box and unpackaged it, plugged it in and…the light show continues. I do not understand this. I don’t know what to do with it now or where to take it. The warranty expired last month! I can “extend” the warranty for 2 years by paying another $48. Is it even worth it? How do I fix this?

If your HP Envy printer is displaying a "light show" or unusual light patterns, it may indicate a problem with the printer's hardware or firmware. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Power cycle the printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 1-2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can help reset the printer and resolve temporary issues.

Update printer firmware: Visit the HP support website and search for your printer model. Look for firmware updates for your printer and follow the instructions provided to update the firmware. Firmware updates often address known issues and improve printer performance.
