HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer will not boot past the first dot upon startup.  I have read the previous posts and suggested solutions in the forums and none of the suggested solutions have resolved the issue.  Pulling (for any length of time) and resetting the power cord, resetting the power cord and pressing the power button, or just pressing the power button has not solved the issue.  The printer is plugged directly into the wall socket..  Also, all parts move freely, paper tray and removable covers are in place, printer cartridges are seated properly.

Hi @ScottB9,

Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing booting issues with your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-In-One Printer.

Please follow the steps listed below for product reset:

1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

2. Leave printer on and completely idle for at least 1 hour.

3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. Now check the control panel display.

You may also upgrade the firmware by following this document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Rainbow23,

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately this did not resolve the issue.  Additionally, the firmware solutions would not work as the printer will not complete the boot cycle that would enable it to connect to WiFi.  I. Appreciate your efforts, but at this time I have replaced the printer.  Thank you again.
