HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

HP Envy photo 7855 is stuck on the HP symbol mode when plugged, and remains on same mode for ever. I have tried trouble shooting like unplugging and allow a wait time of 60 seconds and more, the issue remains the same. I need help.

If your HP Envy Photo 7855 is stuck on the HP logo during startup, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer:

  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back into the power outlet and turn it on.

Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source while the device is still on.
  • Disconnect any connected peripherals like USB cables.
  • Wait for 1-2 minutes to allow the printer’s internal memory to reset.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer without connecting any peripherals.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes, such issues can be resolved with a simple firmware update.

Perform a Semi-Full Reset:

  • Consult the printer’s manual or reach out to HP Support for instructions tailored to your model.

Check for Hardware Malfunction:

  • Inspect the printer for any physical damages or obstructions in the printer mechanism.
  • Listen for unusual noises when the printer turns on, which might indicate a hardware issue.

Hope this helps!
