HP Ink Tank Wireless 415

So I have an HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 and it's working fine until one day it won't start printing. The resume button keeps on blinking ang there's an "E" in the printer LCD as well as a flashing exclamation paint and a paper icon. I looked it up in the HP site and I found out that its a paper jam. I followed the stated instructions and it didn't solved the problem. I then looked up the internet to see if people experienced the same problem as me and found a solution. I saw a bunch but one sticked out to me. The person explained that there might be 3 reason for the problem: 1. A normal paper jam (which again I don't have) 2. The cartridge might be open (I checked and it's not) 3. The encoder strip might be damaged or had  faded.  had my hopes up that the third one might be the cause when I first saw the post since when I checked my encoder strip the right side has already faded. So I ordered a new encoder strip online and when it arrived I immediately installed it. I troubleshooted the printer afterwards and its still not working. I tried printing something and it still won't work. I really need the help/insights. Thanks to whoever responds
