HP LaserJet 1300n Printer

This dinosaur's almost 20 years old, but I do need to get it up and running... if possible. I reconnected power & network cables and machine cycles normally, but orange light flashes at the end of its warm up cycle. Checked paper path including rear side. Replaced toner cartridge. Confirmed toner cartridge is being driven. Device webpage says "missing cartridge". Any ideas?

Use the different cartridge.

If the printer's web page says that there is a cartridge issue it's 99% correct to be a cartridge issue.
